History
London & Capital was established in 1986 as an international investment boutique by Daniel Freedman and Richard Leigh. With successful backgrounds in large financial services firms, Daniel and Richard set out with a vision to create an independent firm based on the principles of integrity, first-class service, cost-effectiveness, steady performance and security of capital.
London & Capital has increased its client assets under management steadily over the past 25 years to $100m in 1992, $1bn in 2003 and then $3bn by the end of 2007. Today we manage more than $3.7bn* for private investors, families and institutions.
In recognition of our performance and high service standards we have won a number of industry awards. They include a European Fund of Hedge Funds Award for best 12-month risk-adjusted returns in 2005, Institutional Investor’s 20 Rising Stars of Wealth Management for one of our directors in 2008 and the Opal Financial Group Awards Emerging Manager of the Year in 2009.
The group's head office is located in London with an additional office in Hong Kong.
